Maiks Skinheads brullten: "Wir sind ein Volk!"


In the third chapter of Olli aus Ossiland, we see many 'paradoxes' over the reunification of Germany. For example: Maik, who is now part of a skinhead group, comes to the celebration with his group and they all cheer for a unified Germany. Its strange that this would happen, as skinheads are not known for either tolerance or unifying anything. Rather, they wish to keep foreigners out of Germany, and generally spread intollerance to others who are not like them. Also, they are known for being rebellious towards "the man". Its weird then that they would celebrate for two very different parts of Germany becoming one, a political victory in the eyes of the world.
